“FLY ME TO THE MOON“
Igniting the Space Economy Wave
Building Vietnam’s Future Workforce
The global space economy is projected to reach $1.8 trillion by 2035. Asia–Pacific is expected to lead growth at 12% annually (2023–2030), with ASEAN poised to contribute $100 billion by 2030 in communications, Earth observation, and supply chain sectors (World Economic Forum and McKinsey & Company). In this evolving landscape, Vietnamese enterprises have a golden opportunity to position themselves early in the high–tech value chain.
Let’s explore the Moon together at Vietnam Space Week 2026
Space Economy Forum:
Where ambitions meet the market
Within the Vietnam Space Week 2026 framework, the Space Economy Forum will be held for the first time in Vietnam, following a roundtable format. The event will convene leading international businesses and global experts – including Michael Koetsier, former Chief Client Engagement Officer at Skyrora UK Ltd – and domestic industry leaders to discuss strategic partnerships.
The forum will focus on practical applications in Vietnam: satellite launch services, agritech (boosting agricultural productivity 20-30%), telecommunications, logistics, urban planning, and supply chain optimization.
Former NASA astronauts return to inspire 10,000 students
Former NASA astronaut Michael A. Baker – who flew five missions reaching for the Moon – returns with flight surgeon Josef Schmid to inspire 10,000 Vietnamese students in Can Tho and Ho Chi Minh City through interactive STEM sessions. Together, they ignite passion for science and space, proving that the sky is truly no longer the limit.
Connecting business – education, creating sustainable value
